Notes on the correct identity of Vanilla andamanica Rolfe (Orchidaceae) and lectotypification of two names

Abstract

Morphological features of Vanilla andamanica Rolfe [ORCHIDACEAE-VANILLOIDEAE-VANILLEAE] has been compared and found identical with Vanilla albida Blume. The same has been reduced here as heterotypic synonym. Second step lectotypification of Vanilla albida Blume and Vanilla montana Ridl. has also been done.
