Abstract

Chiloschista usneoides (D. Don) Lindl. (Orchidaceae), a less known Himalayan Orchid has been assessed for its red list status in Indian perspective. It has been assessed as ‘Endangered’ as per the IUCN guidelines. Habitat management and ex-situ conservation is proposed for its conservation.
