Gastrochilus yei (Orchidaceae): A New Addition for Flora of India
Abstract
Gastrochilus yei J.W. Li & X.H. Jin, a recently described species from China is being reported for the first time from India based on a collection from Sikkim. Detailed description and a photo-plate are provided to facilitate identification of this very less-known species. Its Red List status has been assessed as ‘Critically Endangered’ as per IUCN guidelines and supplemented with a range map.Keywords
