Taxonomic revision of the genus Eleiotis DC. (Leguminosae: Papilionoideae)

Abstract

The genus Eleiotis represented by two species, is reviewed. Nomenclature, synonymy, descriptions with photo plates and distribution maps are given. The monotypic genus Oxydium is reduced as synonym of Eleiotis. Lectotypified Eleiotis rottleri Wight & Arn. and Eleiotis trifoliolata T.Cooke.
