Abstract

The paper provides a detailed list of endemic grass species of India and their distributional status. This includes a total of 327 taxa belonging to 82 genera. The data has been compiled from available literature both offline and online, of these 190 taxa are steno endemics and 137 are holo endemics. Inventory of species has been supplemented with distribution data and ICUN status.
