Dischidia acutifolia Maingay ex Hook.f. (Apocynaceae: Asclepiadoideae): An addition to the flora of India and with comments on its typification

Abstract

Dischidia acutifolia Maingay ex Hook.f., is reported from Assam as new record for India. This species is a native of Indo-China to New Guinea. Detailed description, key to the Indian Dischidia species, color photoplate and illustration are provided to facilitate easy identification. In addition, comment on typification is also provided.
