Botanical Exploration in Hamirpur District (U. P.) with Special Reference to Mahoba Aquatics
Abstract
The paper includes an account of the vegetation of the Hamirpur District in South Uttar Pradesh as observed by the authors during three seasonal visits during 1961-62. The District has a large number of picturesque artificial lakes and water reservoirs and the aquatic flora has been given particular attention. The information gathered in this connection has been summarised in a table. The paper also includes an enumeration of more than 400 species of flowering plants and ferns which were gathered during the three collection tours.Downloads
