A Checklist of the Vascular Plants of Banaskantha District, Gujarat, India

Abstract

The floristic survey of Banaskantha district resulted in collection of 812 species of flowering plants belonging to 442 genera under 116 families. Besides 5 species of pteridophytes were also collected. A checklist is presented along with a brief account on topography, climate, vegetation and floristic analysis.
