Grasses of Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary, Gujarat, India
Abstract
The present paper reveals the current status of the grasses in the Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary in Gujarat, based on the study of fresh specimens from the sanctuary in consultation with herbarium specimens during 2012 to 2016. During the study, 127 taxa pertaining to 65 genera were reported. A complete list of species with updated botanical names and voucher specimens are provided. The sanctuary is facing habitat degradation, and invasion of alien species.
