Riccia stenophylla (Ricciaceae: Marchantiophyta), new to the Eastern Ghats of India
Abstract
Riccia stenophylla was earlier known from the American Continents and was first recorded for Asia by Athira and Daniels (2022) from the Southern Western Ghats. The current report is from the Sirumalai Hills which is an addition to the liverwort flora of the Eastern Ghats. A detailed description of the species with images and a distribution map are provided.
