Distributional note on Curcuma auriantiaca (Zingiberaceae), in Eastern India

Abstract

Curcuma auriantiaca Zijp, a species erstwhile known to occur only in Southern western ghats and North east India recorded for the first time from Eastern Ghats in the Bonai Forest Division of Odisha. A brief taxonomic description along with a photo plate of the taxon is provided here.
