Contribution to the Family Juncaceae in Arunachal Pradesh, India

Abstract

The paper deals with 34 species of Juncus L. and 4 species of Luzula DC. from Arunachal Pradesh. Out of this, 21 species are newly reported for flora of Arunachal Pradesh and 4 species Juncus kangdingensis K.F. Wu, J. longiflorus (A. Camus) Noltie, J. milashanensis A.M. Lu&Z.Y. Zhang, J. setchuensis Buchenau are reported new to India. All these species are appended here with its accepted name, data on phenology, distribution and the exsicatta examined.
